Neal LawsonFounder and Chair
Neal is the father to Jennifer’s beautiful children, an entrepreneur and the founder and chair of the Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation. As a graduate of Randolph Macon College he pursued a career in Information Technology consulting and software development for several global firms. He was the president and co-founder of iDiscovery Solutions, Inc. (“iDS”), an electronic discovery consulting firm based in Washington, DC.

Neal is an avid athlete who is passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle from his days as a spin instructor to more recently coaching soccer and baseball for his children. This passion brought him and Jennifer together and is strongly instilled in their children’s lives.

In addition to his family and career, Neal enjoys cooking and is an avid college basketball fan.

Kelly GarrityExecutive Director
Kelly is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and developing long-term strategy for the foundation’s programs, fundraising efforts and expansion plans, as well as overseeing the execution of JBLF’s mission, which seeks to increase access to high-quality maternal and infant care for vulnerable women and their babies.

Most recently, Kelly was the Senior Director of Membership Services and Development at the National Health Council, where she worked since 2008. She is also a founding member, fundraising chair and legislative co-chair of the Virginia chapter of the Star Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing pregnancy loss and neonatal death and improving care for families who experience such tragedies.

“I’m thrilled to be able to combine my nonprofit professional experience and personal experience with a high-risk pregnancy to help JB-LF achieve its mission,” says Kelly.

Colleen Borelli
Colleen is a board certified OB/GYN who completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown and then earned a Masters in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University. She completed medical school and residency at The George Washington University. Her special interests include obstetrics, menopause, adolescent gynecology and minimally invasive GYN surgery. In her free time, she volunteers at the Arlington Free Clinic. You will likely find her on the sidelines of her sons’ baseball games in her free time. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, golf and reading.
Bruce Bush
Bruce is Jennifer’s father, has been married to Jennifer’s mother Fran for over 50 years and is a member of the JBLF Board. Bruce and Fran reside in Center Valley, PA where Jennifer was raised.

He is retired from Howmet Aluminum Castings and Bethlehem Steel Corporation, both located in Bethlehem PA. Bruce’s professional strengths include problem solving, decision-making and management. Before retiring, Bruce was recognized by his peers and colleagues for extensive knowledge in all areas of procurement and had more than 42 years of experience before retiring. He also received a Professional Lifetime Certification, “Accredited Purchasing Practitioner”, from the National Association of Purchasing Management Organization.

In 2023 he received a “Proclamation” from The Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors recognizing his over 30 years of distinguished service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Upper Saucon Township Municipal Authority and the Upper Saucon Sewage Treatment Authority.

Bruce is a graduate of McCann’s School of Business in Reading, PA where he received a degree in Accounting-Finance and Business Administration. He also received an Honorable Discharge from the US Army Military Police Corps.

In his free time he enjoys watching sports, especially his grandchildren’s participation in baseball and other sporting activities, reading and working in the yard.

Elizabeth Ingram
Elizabeth, a preschool teacher at Westover Baptist in Arlington, VA, has volunteered with the Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation since its launch, dedicating her time to serve as a co-chair and the race director of the annual 5K & Family Fun Day. Her role as a board member allows her to become even more involved in the foundation’s activities in the community.
Jennifer Mies Lowe
Jennifer is Head of Government Relations for AE Industrial Partners directing government affairs across its entire portfolio of aerospace, national security and industrial companies. She has extensive policy and political experience has held senior leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, including the Link Consulting Group, the Boeing Company and the US Senate. Jennifer lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and three kids and is passionate about advancing women’s and children’s initiatives.
